We were downstairs late one Friday night trying to learn to use the industrial sewing machines with a YouTube video and a couple of beers. We’d just started getting the machines in, and I was doing a bunch of research–trying to thread them up. The ladies who were in cleaning our office at the time overheard us talking and said, “Is that a Juki5000? I used to work in a t-shirt factory. Here, let me take a shot.” We just looked like bumbling fools with our beers sitting there thinking “what are we going to do?” And they became our sewing team! They got us started. And that’s luck, right? If we hadn’t of been there Friday night, we would have been like: “Okay, we have these machines, but no one to actually make our product.”
