VARSITY BROWN

I got out of Sault Ste. Marie–I went to Muskoka Woods when I was in grade 10 and I met all these kids who were from the GTA and they were so different. These kids grew up in a metropolitan and I grew up in a small northern Ontario community. It brought up the whole concept of multiple cultures and influences from skateboarding, rap, people from different countries. I wasn’t exposed to that in Sault Ste. Marie. It inspired me and made me realize that design is all about taking these elements in and creating a product that demonstrates that influence.
